New Morning Youth and Family Services

New Morning has provided a network of support services to youth and their families in El Dorado County. These services include a 24-hour emergency shelter (the only one in El Dorado County) for homeless or runaway youth. We offer support programs for the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction in teens, counseling and support for pregnant teens and young mothers, and therapy for at-risk youth. We consider at-risk youth to be those who have experienced abuse, have suicidal tendencies, are failing in school, have run away or been expelled from home, or are involved in criminal activity.
